Semester Reflection

     This semester I had so much fun and learned a lot this semester. I really enjoyed making the podcasts and every week  learning something new to put in our podcasts. I really enjoyed working on podcast every week with new students. I enjoyed recording with the flip video and it is very easy and fast. I did not really  enjoy Kerpoof but putting music was fun and learning how to make it. I hope that next semester we can do like a news report and learn other new stuff. Thank you Mrs. Hendrix for making it a fun class.

Challange

      My idea for making the podcasts better and to get more viewers every week is to not to post them in a section barley anyone goes to in our school websites. It is to post them on the school websites front page every day hundreds of kids go to our front page website. So they can go on Schoolloop and look at their grades. If we post them in our school page and they automatically go on. The kids are going to see it and have more viewers and also make a section were they can judge our podcasts and put ideas on what we can put on them to make them better.  

Fireworks

This picture I made in Kerpoof and it is for this weeks podcasts we have the word signifies. I chose this because I think that when I see fireworks it signifies a celebration like the 4th of July.Also, because my teacher Mrs. Hendrix showed us and told us to use light on our picture.

	clarity of speech (Can understand every word spoken. Not too fast nor too slow. )	creative look (the title, images, video and credits are all easy to see and make you want to look at the podcast. Illustrations are related to the word or sentence and feel original and fresh. The credits don’t go by too quickly and are readable. There’s a sense that the whole podcast has the same theme and look)	creative production (The music adds quality to the podcast. It’s not too loud nor too soft. You can hear speech over the music easily.  The speed of the podcast is even and flows without blank spots or awkward cuts. There’s something interesting about the way it’s all put together. The Kerpoof picture is relevant to the word and a sentence and makes the podcast more interesting)	including all requirements (This week’s requirement was to use a Kerpoof picture with a cartoon that used at least one of the words. Great means they used more than one. There also must be 1.     definition 2.     WG sentence 3.     Original sentence 4.     Credits  with no last names 5.     Bibliography with name of web site and urls 6.     Document named the word)
Great	I think that Derek, Annie, and Kelly did a good job and I could understand what they were saying.	I actually thought it was all very good and really liked their kerpoof picture.		They did great  and included everything.
Needs a little work			Their beginning was kind off confusing the picture did not match what they were saying and it was not bad.

Great	I think that Aquarius and I did pretty well, and I could understand what we said and it had the correct timing .
Needs a little work		I think that we did not do so good we should have added more color and made it look more creative.		I think we included everything except the kerpoof picture and music.
Needs a lot of work or isn’t there at all			I think that we should have added music, pictures, and I forgot to put my kerpoof picture.

Kerpoof Picture

         This picture in kerpoof was hard for me to make and include all of the words with a picture and a sentence. It was hard also, on choosing were to put the picture and people, then finding the space for the sentence. This picture is of Native Americans in the Eastern Woodlands in a day to day life. This is the picture we chose for our podcast and I think it really goes with our word generate because everything there is alive because of the sun generating energy. I really feel that kerpoof is not so bad and I really did not enjoy it but I do appreciate what Mrs. Hendrix was doing and trying to gat us yo do and would like  to try other websites.

Working with my partners for word generation podcast 7

It was really fun working with Derek, he was a very hard working kid and did most of the work. He stayed at lunch evryday working on it and my team turned it in two days earlier. Working with Freddy was also, fun it was his first podcast because he is new to our class and did pretty good. Also, I think that Freddy could have played a little less and then he did pretty good. I could have done a little more work and I went to go help another group on vidoe tapping. So, in all I think my team did pretty good.

Word Generation Podcast Week 7

This is the podcast my group and I made for the word generation podcasts week 7.

It was fun making it because it was the first time we actually recorded it and have our faces in. It was funny because it took us forever to make because we mest up alot and had to do it alot of times till we got it. I reallly enjoyed doing it. It is the first one and is not so good hope you enjoy it.    

Welcome to Stephanie's Blog!

     Well this is my first blog I have ever done. I am excited to put all my great work in here. My first work on here is from my 8th grade Media Arts class. I am hoping to put many more up. I am going to post stuff of all my classes and different subjects. If you want please comment I want hear what you think. I am going to try to make it creative. I am not going to post anything I do not think is good. I hope you like all of my postings. These two podcasts are totaly different. The podcast formulate was the first one I did with my group and it sounds wiered and my Media Arts teacher gave us the pictures. The second video is when we learned to put our own pictures and also, learned how to make and put music on it using GarageBand. I think that my whole class and I have improved on making these podcast. I know you must be wondering why we do them and I am going to answer why. Our school has started a new program called Word Generation that is going to help us on our CST's. So everyweek we have a new topic we discuss and new vocabulary words. That is our job to turn them in to podcast post it on our school website http://fms-sfusd-ca.schoolloop.com/ so the school will see them. I will be posting more up and they are going to improve.
